Saskatchewan RCMP looking for cattle rustlers who stole 3 newborn calves

ORMISTON, Sask. — Mounties are looking for cattle rustlers in southern Saskatchewan.

Police say three calves aged three to seven days old were taken last week from a ranch near Ormiston, around 150 kilometres southeast of Regina.

A rancher told police he saw two people stealing calves from his pasture and a dark-coloured Ford truck, with an extended cab, parked along a nearby grid road.

Police say the truck headed west and the rancher followed it as far as Highway 36.

RCMP are looking for one man and one woman believed to have been involved in the theft.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Coronach RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
