OPP say man dead, four injured after crash in Wellington North Township

WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, Ont. — Provincial police say a man is dead after a multi-vehicle collision in Wellington North Township, Ont.

Police say multiple vehicles collided during a period of heavy snow around 1:45 p.m. on Friday.

They say four people were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the deceased as 66-year-old Robert William Crosby of Dundalk, Ont.

While the collision occurred during harsh winter weather conditions, police say they're still unsure what caused the crash.

Investigators are looking to speak to witnesses of the collision, including the driver of a white van travelling in the area at the time.
