Toronto police identify woman stabbed to death in underground PATH network

Toronto police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing in the city's underground PATH network.

They say 51-year-old Rae Cara Carrington of Toronto was found with apparent stab wounds in the concourse underneath King and Bay streets Wednesday evening.

First responders attempted to save her life, but she died at the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a white man between 20 and 30 years old, with a medium build, dark hair and facial hair.

He was wearing a light-coloured baseball hat, a black hoodie and a white T-shirt, as well as dark pants and dark shoes, at the time of the attack.

The stabbing is not far from where Rosemarie Junor was fatally stabbed in 2015 by Rohinie Bisesar, who was found not criminally responsible for the attack last year.
